New Toys for the Little Boy
Last week, I realized that it is time for Jens to have some new toys. I looked up the net to check what are the latest so we have the idea what to buy when we're at the shops. Not that there aren't any choices there, there are heaps actually.
And because of heaps selections, we ended up buying these.
Daddy was too excited that he immediately assembled (still in the car) the bike when we got home and pushed Jens around the yard. Can't wait to unload our other shopping stuff. Jens legs are short for the bike so he can't push it himself.
the rolling musical ball
We ended up not buying the toys that we planned on buying. But this rolling musical ball was closed to what we want.

Weekend Snapshots 2
Jens' turn the steering wheel right after MCJ put him on the car. He might have noticed what his Dad does while driving. :)
Well, the steering didn't last long as it was replaced by his mouth. Lol. He just loves to lick everything.
We had a fun and expensive weekend. How about you? :)
More weekend snapshots here.

The Careful Baby
Since Jens' know how to stand on his cot or anywhere with something he can hang on to, he often ends up toppling down. I might not like it to happen but he just wants to stand up right away when you put him down and it is inevitable not to leave him for a minute.
He had injured the right corner of his brows when he stands on the sliding door like a gecko and with nothing to hold onto, he just slipped to the floor. A cup of tears may have been wasted.
But I think, he had learnt because this morning when he was trying to reach for his toy while standing on his cot, he didn't let go of the rails rather carefully look for his way down until he was able to sit. He might have grasped the meaning of gravity. :) This is a big achievement for him as it means, no more tears eventually.

Hand Dexterity
For weeks, the BIG GUY had been so amazed with his hands that he always stared at them before sucking his fingers. Then two days ago, I noticed that he was trying to open and close the right one. And so, I held it up and said "close, open".. and he did the same thing over and over again. Yayyyy, he had learnt what I taught him last week on how to close and open his palm. Clever guy!
Sometimes, out of the blue without me holding his hand up.. he would close and open his palm - when he noticed his right hand. It sort of like a habit. I'm teaching him now how to wave and he sort of like can do it but not too well. Maybe in the next few days, he will perfect the motion. I'm excited!
